Evening all

went to use out Smax this evening but was aware that the headlights weren’t working, sidelights ok, full beam is good but main headlights not on. Out at the moment but playing on my mind a little.
any ideas as to what could cause them both not to work other than bulbs have blown.
id appreciate some clues, obviously in the morning I’ll be looking at the bulbs to see if they had blown.
wondered if it could be a fuse.
thanks in advance.

You have a fault with the Body Control Module. Most probably water ingress.

A while back, I had exactly the same issue. Turns out that by a very large co-incidence, both bulbs had actually blown. Before going off at a tangent, just check the bulbs by taking out, examine if the filament has broken, and if you have a spare, pop it in just to see...

Well that’s exactly what I did and after a right rigmarole in getting the light out and then taking the old bulb out and putting it back in 😂😂 I finally put the new one in and it works so I’ve got to get another bulb and hopefully that’s the end of it.

First question would be is there a fuse for the main lights...? ie if missing something both went at the same time?
