Can anyone assist identifying these sagged cables

Featured Replies

Hi to all,

First time viewer and not a lurker,

I'm in need of assistance if possible with identifying what these sagging/drooping cables are on my ST mk3.5?

I'm not a mechanic by any means but in my opinion, they look like either brake lines or for handbarke.

Only noticed tongiht when I was looking for my dic%^$ad of a cat and trying to get him in for the night, lol.

Can anyone confirm what they relate to, mainly so I'm not getting ripped off when trying to get resolved/fixed?

Thanks in advance to all that respond and your inputis greatly appreciated.

They are the exhaust temp sensors  wiring. Just need pulling through the clips a bit to stop them hanging down.  ,

Thank you so much for your reply and confirming what the cables are for.  Very much appreciated. 🙂

I'll get her on some stands so I get some room to have a look at pulling these through and if new clips are required to get them back in place.

I was hoenstly worried that my handbrake cables were a goner or worse...  She's the first Ford I've ever owned so not overly familiar with the setup underneath.

Will have to find a reasonable day to get this tended to in the week, weather is a bit rubbish up the north of Scotland just now.  Sunny but teaming with rain or dry but baltic, lol.

Again, sincerest thanks, a good weight of the mind :)
