MrTebb
Hello all. Bit of advise if possible. I have gone to my car today and the dash reads check park pilot. The parking sensors pop up has an explanation symbol on it when in reverse and the button next to the shifter is off and won’t turn on. Pressing it brings up the same message. I did the bms reset and gave them all a good clean front and rear and cannot see any obvious issues. What other things could I be checking etc 2017 s max is there a fuse for these etc many thanks
MrTebb
I’ve had a listen to all the sensors as I heard that there is a subtle clicking noise when operational and all 8 are making the same sound so I assume they are all still working etc. Can someone show me where the control unit is please. many thanks
MrTebb
Can anyone tell me where the control unit it is located for the parking assist on a 2017 smax. I’m getting error codes now about ground/open so need to trace back.
TomsFocus
Not sure on these but they are usually fitted behind the side panel in the boot.
