    The map display on sync 3 is far less information dense (as in fewer buttons) and the buttons are more rounded on sync 3, also I have had both sync 2 and 3 in my focus and it is very easy to tell

    If you are seeing it in person you can, as the sync 2 screen is a plastic touchscreen whereas the sync 3 one is glass faced
