abutters93
I’ve got a 2010 S-Max 2.2 TDCi; I’ve heard that a PCM update can improve fuel economy. My questions are: - does it work/is it worth doing? - how do I go about doing it? Thanks in advance!

Some PCMs yes, some no 15 hours ago, abutters93 said: how do I go about doing it? You could book into Ford, it takes about 20 minutes to update PCM, so expect an hour's labour. If you purchase the V-Linker or OBDLink-EX cable (NOT a cheap Chinese ELM327), download the paid version of FORScan, not the public version, (you will need a paid license) and read the MFU user guide TO THE LETTER on the FORScan Forums, you can do it yourself. PCM update is quite safe, if you follow the guide
