headlight replacement focus mk3-2011

Featured Replies

Hello, I have decided to change the headlights of my ford focus mk3 2011. In my country there is one for sale like this ---www.bazar.bg/obiava-40450101/liav-far-ford-focus-3-ksenon
do you know if they will fit my ford and I turned the whole internet if you could direct me where to buy the right one or maybe both in a set. The car is left-hand drive, so I will have to look for those from a left-hand drive car.
thank you

There should be a part number sticker, on the headlamp, make sure the part number of the replacement matches

IE: ABC2-12345-AA ignore part numbers moulded into the headlamp body

ALL of the prefix-part number- and the first letter of the suffix MUST match, the last letter, only, can be higher, not lower than your headlamp

thank you very much i will check mine how they are
I will post them here if anyone has any headlights for sale, because I really like them, but unfortunately they are rare in Europe.

Most people on here are UK RHD, they'll be no good over here

Hello Zhivko. Why do you want to change the headlights on your car?

Are you after a stronger light output?

Does your car have Halogen or Zenon headlights?

If Halogen then go for a higher output bulb like Osram Night breakers.

If you have Zenon then possibly the bulbs just need replacing as they yellow with age.

If you feel you need to change to Zenon then check with your country's laws on Zenon headlights. Here in England a car must have headlight washers fitted. Yes it's a strange rule.

Also you'll need the ballasts. Maybe some extra fusing and wires.

It won't be cheap. Just go for better quality bulbs.

Ahh, I get the jist now, he wants aftermarket headlamps

Possibly. I don't read Polish/Eastern European. Just saw the zenon bit in the link he posted.

there is no compelling reason to change them, here in Bulgaria it is mandatory to drive with either daytime running lights or low beam lights on during the day as well. those in the link I found are simply an idea better in terms of characteristics -- they have Xenon with magnifiers and daytime running lights. that's why I was surprised to buy them, I travel a lot through the dark part and I think that the xenon will shine much better, but unfortunately they only have a right headlight - not the left one.
the bulbs I use are osram-night breaker
the language is not Polish, but Bulgarian is quite different.

Short answer is no, they won't work without other changes.

They need self levelling suspension height sensors and wiring added.  Light switch replaced.  The BCM software needs to be changed.

Part numbers for Mk3 LHD:

Silver bezel - 2004298 & 1856841

Black bezel - 1914788 & 1914789

thanks a lot for the part numbers.
The key is one of those with automatic lights and most likely it will, for the wiring and programming there are people here who can do it I think. So it's worth risking 500 euro.
