Hi all

Does anyone know if DPF and Turbo from 1.6 tdci engine from 2010 focus will fit onto 1.6tdci 2008 C-Max?

    Probably not.

    The DPF changed from Eolys to coated in 2009.

    And the Mk3 Focus was released in 2010 with the 8v engine, using a totally different turbo.

    Even if both engines are the older 16v type, you'd need to know they are both the same power level.  The 90ps engine used a wastegate turbo, whereas the 110ps engine used a VNT turbo.

    This is mk2.5 focus, Zetec TDCI 1560cc

    The engine bay + covers look identical on both cars... 

    Also here are screenshots for both cars from 1st choice car parts

    According to euro car parts, turbo is identical part no. while DPF is different.

    That doesn't show power level or emissions spec which is the info we need. 

    As long as both are the same power level, the turbo will fit.

    But I doubt the DPF will still be the old Eolys type.  (The DPF's look the same externally, but cDPF has extra sensors fitted - they are not interchangeable due to different regen mapping in the ECU)
