Do you know how to change the time settings on the digital display? I have an aftermarket pioneer stereo so can't adjust the time using the ford radio. Also is there any way to make the speed also appear in the digital display...?

 

I just installed cruise control. It was very easy to be honest in the end. The video I used is here if any of you are interested. Just follow the steps as he does them and you'll be fine. I did have to disconnect the battery for the air bag instal which has buggered the time display up hence my question.

My mk2.5 you just adjust clock through the menu accessed with the stalk?

Car has to be stopped for you to have clock come up in Settings menu but it’s all pretty straight forward apart from having to cheat with the date setting to get it to roll over past the highest year it lets you set.

if you are lucky enough that your car is set so the PMC cruise box can be just ticked then - yes - super simple....

for MOST you have to add a bit to the programming in the PCM to ungrey the tick box - that's where it gets a lot more interesting - as if you mess that up you aren't going anywhere ever again

I'm confused in the video doing the PCM how you have to select a different model ECU in the drop down - it auto populates ??? what are you up to there?

PCM Module Type under the information section is the one you want. This does not automatically appear already selected in the configuration section under the PCM Type box. You have to make a mental note or take a pic of the PCM module sections info then select it in the dropdown type box..
