Roberts95
Can anyone tell me what these codes are and what are the fixes? U0405:00-68 & U3001 00 08 it’s a Ford S-Max 2007 2.0 diesel it also has a small leak on the alternator side I think it’s diesel because when it comes to a stop you can smell diesel sometimes, if anyone has any idea what that could be I have looked under the hood and you can see there’s been a leak, but I’ve cranked the engine while someone looked and there’s no obvious leak. The alternator belt has sprayed the liquid everywhere
unofix
Any DTC that begins 'U' is a communication error between modules. They are in themself not a fault. 1 hour ago, Roberts95 said: it also has a small leak on the alternator side I think it’s diesel because when it comes to a stop you can smell diesel sometimes, I think you need help from someone who has knowledge of car engines. PS. In the UK our cars have bonnets.
