joshuafalls
Hi There, I have recently taken the dash out my Focus to replace the heater matrix, so this meant taking the seats, centre console out etc. I had put everything back together to find the airbag light on the dash. I had a few faults stored for both front seats (see pics below), I have tried clearing them but they keep coming back, both seat connectors seem tight & connected so unsure if I have left something unplugged behind the dash or if something has happened during taking it apart/rebuilding. Has anyone had anything similar? Thanks Josh
unofix
Something is unplugged or not fully plugged in. Check and re-check the connections under the drivers seat. If it seems OK then unplug it and re-run the scan with FORScan and see if it notices that the seat is disconnected. Could you have possibly crossed the connectors for the drivers and passengers seats ?

I know the connectors went in freely and then screwed up tight but I will definitely re-check 🤞
Janner7859
You say that you have replaced the heater matrix, so I assume that you had a leak in that area. Is it possible that the connectors got damp? If so you may have some corrosion on the connector pins uder the seat.

I will double check that as well, do you know what route the seat wiring takes when it goes under the carpet?
TomsFocus
I think the airbag module is under the centre console on these. The wires may have been tugged or got damp during the matrix change. Would be worth checking the module plugs just in case.

Have you found the Schematic drawings on this site for the Mk2 Focus? https://www.fordownersclub.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=42087 This might help tracing wires & connectors. The restraints module is on page 80. There are quite detailed outlines of the seat connectors (C30,C31) on page 112 The 3 units your diagnostics have picked up (both pre-tensioners & the driver seat side airbag) don't seem to go near the fascia, they are in the floor loom, I think. A corroded connector that has been disturbed in all the work and now has some bad contacts seems the most likely culprit.
