Hi All,

My driver's side headlight needs replacing due to a fault however I'm struggling to see which headlamp unit I need from Ford's website it's one of these two:

Is there actually much difference between them in terms of colour? Or are they the same?

My current one has the MPN as: F1EB-13D154-DG but I have no idea how to translate that into a Ford Finis number.

    That's a genuine Ford site, I'd drop them a line with your VIN number to ensure the correct part. At least you'll get free postage! 😁

    Thanks for the quick reply, yeah it rather expensive but I was struggling to figure out what part would be compatible from "used" parts

    So it looks like neither are correct... :unsure:  Unfortunately the parts catalogues we have access to only go up to 2016 so can't confirm finis number using your VIN.  In this case, it looks like contacting Ford so that they can check the proper parts catalogue is the best option.

     

    Or look for a used one with exactly the same manufacturing number as yours.  This one's sold but it shows the number clearly.

    You need a headlight with the same Ford part code as your orginal unit. The very last letter can be the same or higher.

    For example: F1EB-13D154-DG could be replaced with H, J, K, L, M, N, etc. etc. However it is possible that you may be able to use a part which is only a slightly earlier version.

    For example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204625772093? This is the same as yours just an earlier version F1EB-13D154-DF
