1.6tdci 2009 109hp fuel temperature

Hi, my fuel temperature shows +30c even though its around +2c ambient temp.

Dipped both old and new sensor in +2c water still shows +30c.

If i remove sensor from contact it shows -14c.

Can anyone please check if you have different results?

    That is a fault with FORScan for these cars, they all show the Diesel temperature too high compared to ambient temperature right through the temperature range, ambient and under bonnet.

    Thanks for your answer, hmm, so that was it... And yes im using Forscan...

    Well a new sensor with hoses only costs €80... too bad

    I must check with another scantool.
