Focus mk3.5 2.0tdci 150 what engine oil?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I was looking to change oil and was sure it 0w30 start stop. But, checked the manual and it's says 5w30. Some websites recommend 0w30 and some 5w30. So which one is it? What you people using  on 2.0 tdci euro 6? Car has done 115k miles.

Is it definitely a Mk3.5 manual?  I think it changed from 5w30 to 0w30 at Mk3 facelift.

It's 2015 Ford Focus face-lift. 2.0 tdci euro 6. 150 bhp. Manual. So should be mk3.5 I guess.

I meant the owners manual.  If you bought the car used, it may have come with the wrong owners manual.

Do you have any Ford service history with the car?  The oil spec could be itemised on that if so.

Thanks for that. In service history it's 0w30. I'll  stick  with  0w30. I'll attach picture of my manual. Hand writing is me.
