Managed to get a little further with my roof problem.

Using ediag I have managed to get the attached report of data feeds of roof sensors. From what I can deduct I believe the sensor that says roof folded and locked should be actuated while the roof is up? Guessing that could be a problem but don't really know where/what I'm looking for?

Just wondering if anyone with any knowledge of these could point me in the direction of my next step.....although I have the report I don't really understand it fully 🤣

The problem with the Focus CC roof keeps coming up on the forum from time to time. Take a read of this thread and then use FORScan to find out which of the switches is not operating correctly.

Do you know if you can do the same with forscanlite? I have that on my phone but don't have a laptop? 

The FORScan phone versions can do everything that the FORScan laptop version can do, except they can not do any programme changes. All monitoring is the same between the different versions, and the phone versions can also clear DTC's and reset service reminders like oil changes.

Brilliant thanks, I'll give that a shot tomorrow and see if I can get any further 

Connected up with forscanlite but can't find anywhere that I can check the sensors for the roof? 🤔

Never needed to try myself, but a previous poster with a roof problem reported that the Body Control Module had to be replaced on their car to fix the fault. Therefore I would think the roof sensors must be in the BCM list somewhere.

On removing items from my boot caught the boot light and micro switch I have ordered new light an micro switch arriving today for when roof closed windows would not close any advice
