Mood lighting not working

Hi, I’ve got a 2011 focus titanium x and the mood lighting has not worked since having the car.

has anyone else had this or know where to start looking?

You’ve checked the brightness is turned up and pressed the mode/colour button to cycle through and there are no colours anywhere?

It could be the ambient lighting module itself that has failed. I believe it's in the roof above those controls, or not far from that area.

Have you checked the drivers display for an ambient lighting option? I think this is only on the single colours, but worth checking incase you've got the option and its turned off.

That would make sense, do you know the correct way of removing the control cover and module so I don’t snap any clips? 
 

I haven’t checked within the drives display so will check there first.
