Anyone got any new ideas on the instruments cluster failure problem? 2008 ford galaxy 2.0 to it ghia. Had the clocks repaired for the solder problem but still have the intermittent fault occurring. Looking for ideas regarding the plug connector and pins etc. Maybe power amps or voltage to the cluster might help 馃槈 thanks if you can help 馃え

What fault? It might help if you actually describe it...

Please look at the pictures for my own repair service (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314393033915) and identify which model of instrument cluster you have, or post a picture.

Who repaired the cluster?

They may have just re-flowed the solder not removed/replaced.

Might need to repair cluster again

Actually that's a good point. Although in my case I have them working for about 45min. I thought there might be a problem with the tyco plug or the wiring to it. Sometimes if you get the wires in the right place it will flicker on for a second or two.
