Can anyone tell me how to adjust the brightness on the screen. I touched something on the way home in the dark and it went full glare which is dangerously distracting. Cannot for the life of me find the button I pressed to get it back to normal.

    Well it was on full glare night mode which is pretty scary when you are completely blinded!

    That’s the point. I cannot find any control to turn down brightness only on and off.

    Screen brightness is adjusted using the instrument cluster illumination control next to the headlight switch.

    Screen brightness only adjusts the instrument panel, not the infotech display

    Is it adjusted via the "settings" menu then "display" on the Sync screen? 

    Can't check at the mo as the Ford website "download a manual " feature seems unable to identify ANY vehicles, including mine - anyone else found that today?

    Display
    Menu Icon  You can adjust the display using the touchscreen or the voice button on the steering wheel controls.
    To make adjustments using the touchscreen, select:
     
    Menu Item   Action and Description  
    Settings
    		Press the settings icon.  
    Display
    		 
    Then select from the following:  
    Mode
    		Allows you to switch the display off. It also allows you to set the screen to a certain brightness or have the system automatically change based on the outside light level.   If you also select:  
    Auto
    		These features will allow you to adjust the dimming of your screen.  
    Night
    Edit Wallpaper
    		Allows you to display the default photo or upload your own.  
    Auto Dim
    		When set to On, lets you use the automatic dimming feature.   When set to Off you are able to adjust the brightness of the screen.  
    Brightness
    		Make the screen display brighter or dimmer.  
    Auto Dim Manual Offset
    		Allows you to adjust screen dimming as the outside lighting conditions change from day to night.  
     
    Voice Activation - Speak 
    To make adjustments using the voice button, press the button and when prompted, say:
     
    Voice command  
    Display Settings
