Heater matrix hose mk2.5 1.6 100hp petrol

Featured Replies

Hi all got a pinhole hose leak just after the rear of the engine where it comes out and goes to the top pipe of the heater matrix going through the bulkhead. Just my luck it is too close to the outlet from the engine to cut and use a hose joiner. Whilst I was faffing with it it seemed like the end that goes onto the engine was different to size to the rest of the pipe. Where it goes into the bulkhead is this a standard dimension? Anyone replaced the part for non ford or know what the part number is to see if I can source one. Tks

Think it'll be this one.

Yes Believe you are correct. At the moment currently got some silicone over the hole and tape wrapped on it. image.thumb.png.1482b6e61ba166bb98030437e8377cbf.png

BTW it was caused by the bracket that holds the two stiff cables that is in that area. The bracket wasnt bolted down and had a sharp edge. Must have missed it when I done the clutch 😞 Just removed the bracket as couldnt work out the orientation or where it should have been bolted to.
