So I wanted to retrofit a new console in my 08 tdci, changing out the console to a st console/ zetec one with the arm rest. 

I got it all the fittings needed except one thing I can't seem to find. Thr rear brackets at the end near the handbrake on the new fitting doesn't work with the mk2.5 model. The holes to bolt it down doesn't work with the new console. I'm sure there a bracket you can do to make the facelift possible since I know people who done it and seen other people in the forums do it too but I can't seem to find this bracket I need.

Any pointers to where I can get a bracket to bolt down this new console?

Not read all the details but should confirm your question 👍

the start button you may need to get creative with some relays fed off the Ford start button to do the necessary. If it’s like the system I modified on my mk1 ST170 you’ll still need to put the key in and switch to running position then use the start button to mirror turning to position 3 which fires the starter motor. Best to check first though as several assumptions in my thinking for the mk2 Focus
