left headlamp leveling motor fault

Featured Replies

wondering if anyone can shed any light (see what I did there)

every couple of days my car throws "front headlamp malfunction"

forscan shows code B1A57 as pic

is this the leveling arm on the wishbone, or the motor in the headlamp?

many thanks

The motor in the headlamp.

Good news with it being a 2009 car, replacement headlights on Ebay range £30 - £50. A modern car can spring in excess of £1000!

This is a xenon unit.  I doubt you'll get a working one for less than £100.
