Help needed - Focus 2015 is this original engine?

Featured Replies

Hi forum,

I have just been to view a 2015 Focus, the car seems to be jerking a lot especially in low gears, and noisy when reving.  Took a photo of the engine, does it look original to you guys? Thanks! spacer.png

If it didn't feel right just walk away. It's looks like 1.5 tdci, should be Engine cover on top as well. Do you suspect Engine has been replaced?

Yes I did suspect the engine had been replaced. The engine was pretty noisy and when reving you could feel the car vibrating. From your photo, it does look like original though. The seller was real keen to sell as well, so that didnt give much confidence to be honest. Thanks for your input mate

Find the engine number on the engine and see if it matches the VIN
