S max oil issue

Featured Replies

Hi guys as any body else got any more idea,s I can try with my oil issue on my s max also my elecy windows have a annoying  problem when I flick the switch it will set off to the top then it changes its mind 3/4 up then starts coming back down then it will only go up by holding switch thay all do it ive reset them i dont know how meny times but patience  is wearing  a little thin. thanks for any help on this matter thankyou G.

The electric window is probably getting tight around 3/4s up so the motor reverses it as a safety feature.  It's designed to stop kids or dogs trapping body parts in the window.

Check for any obvious debris in the window channel, run a screwdriver around it, and then lubricate it with a small amount of oil.

Then it would seem the window is tight and sticking in the guide channels. Use silicon spray in the channels and the edge of the window and run the glass up and down a few times.
