Mobile phone booster nonsense!

Featured Replies

If you channel surf late of an evening, you may have stumbled upon an infomercial for a wonderful little device that sticks on your phone, and increases the signal from 'no bar', to '5 bars'. This is the sellers web site... Now, common sense tells you this is rubbish. If phone signals could be improved that significantly using a device that costs pennies to make, pretty sure Samsung, Apple and the like would embed them at manufacture.

Still, the infomercial is very slick, and I'm sure millions of folk fall for it - DON'T!

It's an absolute con. I had the occasion to get my hands on one recently from someone who bought a multiple purchase. It is nothing but a sticker with some ink painted on it. The thing I don't understand is how they get away with it. Still, if it were my business, I'd be laughing all the way to the proverbial bank!

Hey, I have some bottled snake oil if anyone's interested?? 🤣

What really works and this is no con, if you are just (emphasis on the just) outside your range to your cars key fob wireless lock/unlock feature... Then just point the key fob into your forehead and then press the button. It'll then work! No joke.
