Hi, I have a 1.6tdci 2011 fiesta and I want to add cruise control, I have managed to buy a fiesta steering wheel with the volume control panel on the left with (M) in the middle and the cruise control panel on the right, I understand I have to disconnect the battery and leave it for about 20 minutes then softly remove the airbag the the steering wheel, by having the battery disconnected for about 20 minutes will this cause a problem with the central locking not working with the keyfob, any advice would be very much appreciated

    You won't be able to centrally lock the car while the battery is disconnected.  But it should be fine once reconnected again.

    Hi, I've just fitted another steering wheel with the cruise control panel and reconnected the battery and central locking works perfect, does anyone know where I can go and have the cruise control activated around south/north yorkshire or Hampshire, any advice would be very much appreciated

    I got a steering wheel with cruise control panel for £40 & a usb obd2 connector and downloaded forscan 1hr later steering wheel changed and activated cruise control and works perfectly
