Removing Rear Insulation Under Boot Trim

Featured Replies

I fixed the leaky vent issue on my mK3 focus a couple of years ago and noticed recently it returned.  I've checked the vents are still sealed and have now sealed under the roof rails and filled in the two bodywork joins at the top of the tailgate.

I've removed the trim in the boot and want to remove the thicker insulation stuff, is this easy to remove / put back?  I had a quick play yesterday and the drivers side part seemed to be fixed quite securely especially around the clip shown in the pic - do I just need to pull harder? I appreciate I still need to remove the trim on the left of the pic

Also does anyone know how mould resistant the inner of the car is? thinking of the rear seats, insulation material and the trim that goes over the top.

Thanks

Nimp
