My bonnet wont open using my key, is there a secret way to open it?

    There isn't a secret opening as such, but the Mk2 bonnet locks break regularly so there are plenty of videos showing different ways to try and open them.  Basically need a long thin screwdriver poked in through the grill but it's not quite as easy as it sounds.

    I've had the lock fail on me several times. Best advice I can give is do not replace it with a cheap Ebay Chinese item, they are useless (I've had 3) and last a matter of months (if you're lucky). My current one is from a breakers yard, genuine Ford, but is now working fine on it's second year...
