Constant warning alerts

Featured Replies

I have a 2023 Galaxy Titanium Hev.
whilst driving on the motorway I suddenly started getting warnings that several of the driver assist features had failed.  Hill start assist, BLIS, Front camera, cruise control active braking. This seemed to be a constant loop of audible chimes and display. I also received warnings for drivers door and o/s/r door being open and interior lights coming on.  I was able to drive the car home. This has gone on for a few days now but seems to be getting worse.  I am also not able to lock the car.
I have booked the car in to my local dealer but I am having to wait until next week before they can look at it.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.
thanks in advance.

It would appear that this is a unique problem. Car went into dealership on Thursday. I received a call to say they had identified the problem and ordered the part which they wouldn’t get until Friday. They called me on Friday to say it wasn’t what they thought and has pretty much got them stumped. when I asked them for a date it would be fixed the response did not fill me with confidence. I am not expecting my car back anytime soon ☹️
to be fair to the dealership they organised a courtesy car quickly so at least I am mobile

So I finally got my car back today. Apparently Ford UK had to assign master technicians to trace the fault which turned out to be a grounding problem under the drivers seat.
the problem I now have is my 12 month old mint condition car has had the interior trashed and not put back together as I would expect.
I would appreciate it somebody could post a photograph of where the panels meet by the airbag isolation switch. The way they have put it back just doesn’t look right.  TIA IMG_3927.thumb.jpeg.ed8aa75d466f1eeae81442ed88a5b889.jpeg

Have a look at the drivers door, does that bit of trim go over the bottom strip, or is it tucked under?

I'm confused 🤔

This is posted in the Galaxy forum, and your profile says you have a 2013 Mondeo Estate, but then you say your car is only 12 months old, is it  your profile needs updated ?

What car are we talking about please ? :confused1:

I will update my profile.
the post is about a 2023 Galaxy

Hi Noffo, in case you're still working on this I have attached a photo of my own car in the same position around the airbag switch, just in case useful! Looks like the bottom edge of that overlapping trim piece might have flared slightly, perhaps from being levered off during the work? Hope the repairs were successful though!

All the best,

Sandy

Hi Sandy

thank you for taking the time to take and upload the photograph.
the dealership are taking my car back in as although the problem has been resolved they have trashed what was an immaculate interior. Frustrating as taking a bit of care when stripping the car down would have prevented the need to go back in. At least they have admitted it isn’t good enough and are prepared to put it right

That sounds like a good result, if not as convenient as it could have been! Glad it's getting sorted.

All the best

Sandy
