I bought a ford galaxy 2.2 diesel in automatic transmission. In first few days car started/drive ok but did not go above 2.5k RPM, the codes I am getting are P0238, P0113, P0045. When I scanned with lunch scanner previusly I had the code describing rear camera circuet open and radio circuet open, so that would explain the battery flat. Today I tried to start the engine but It started for a second and stopped when I tried to restart the engine I heard squiking noise when engine tried to start so I stop the engine. If anybody had this problem and is willing to give me any advice It would be great.

    What mileage has the engine done?

    Has it been serviced recently? Does it have oil in the engine? When was the cambelt changed?

    Don't understand why you think the camera and radio circuits being "open" would explain a flat battery. If they were short-circuit I could see your reasoning.

    Sounds like the BCM or Instrument cluster, or even the whole car is junk

    hi guys thanks for reply I do not have any service history because I bought this car not so long ago from privet seller. I checked the oil and  is ok, I need to find out how to check cam belt, regarding the camera/radio open circuit it looks like a short circuit someware in the car. Car got about 130k. I have ordered the obd adapter to use scan tool so hopfully in few days I know more.
