Galaxy 2.3 Trend Steering

Featured Replies

Hi!
I have bought at Ford Galaxy 2.3 Trend (it is registered in 2006, but I am pretty sure it is from 2000)
It is the "mini-camper" version of the Galaxy with a possibility to open the roof with a tent.

Anyone have a wiring manual or anything that relates to the car?
I have a hard time finding anything on it.

Additionally, there is this sound from the right front wheel. It is clunking sometimes when braking or turning.
Is it a common thing that can be fixed? Worn out bearings? suspension?

Never seen such a thing here in the UK

Please post photos so we can see the model

Difficult to say without sitting in the car myself. It could possibly be a worn CV or a broken coil spring and just about anything inbetween.

Not common on a car a few years old but on something that is potentially 24 years old things break.

Thanks for reply.

It is an old ***** car, and I am rather sure that it is the bearings now.

anyway, here is a picture of the tent

I can't upload the video due to size, but here is a link to it via Onedrive:

I've never seen anything like that on a Ford Galaxy here in the UK 👍

That noise sounds quite bad, I don't think it's a wheel bearing.

It could be the car is objecting to being contaminated with foreign parts 🤣

Haha, most def. They probably got the wheels cheap somewhere

I am very concerned with this now..
I am taking it to the professionals.

And for the other thread that is ongoing atm, the aircondition system on this one is also not working.
