Mk1 Focus Colour code/name help please.

Featured Replies

Morning all, new Focus owner and first post here. Early days and most a bit step up from a 300k 94' 106!

But learning the basics so a few questions that most will find obvious but as I say I'm learning my way around and just wandering where I would find the body colour code and how to find the colour name after that please. It's a sort of light aqua blue metallic colour .... far from bad even all these years on. But of course we have some rust and need look for some replacement panels.

Appreciate any help or link to guides that can help us on the way. Many thanks

EDIT: Just trying to look up online and interestingly when  you enter the reg into an online paint finder it says it's silver. It's definitely not silver 🙂 I guess this comes from the V5 and looks to be wrong.

Ford don't put the paint name on the vehicle. There is a two letter code on the door plate but it is not that easy to identify from there.

If you post your registration number or your VIN, I will check the colour for you on the vehicles factory build sheet. The most probable colour is Aquamarine Frost

Nice one Unofix .... will come back to you with that data very shortly.

Is weird, I was bought up on multiple Ford's from day 1 but then many years on the dark side. Really enjoying being back in Ford circles. Will come back to you shortly. Many thanks for coming back.

That looks just like my colour Unofix. And here is the VIN and reg details.

Many thanks for checking on that for me. Baby steps learning about a new model 🙂

That's brilliant .... many thanks Unofix. Now I can start my ebay hunt for a couple of wings, hopefully painted in the same. Much appreciated.
