Knocking noise on o/s

Me again!!!

I have a knocking noise on the o/s of the car when travelling at a slow speed eg in traffic. 
I was wondering if it could be suspension related and if there are any issues that they suffer with that could point me in the right direction?

    Gosh, dodgy suspension, and incorrect A/C working, tough 'new car' experience. Now, the knocking noise, does it vary in speed with the car speed, or remain constant? Different to when steering left, or right, or straight ahead?
