Short answer is 'no'

It is very unlikely that you lights actually have 19 genuine faults. It's far more likely it has a couple of real faults which is causing it to look like multiple problems.

I suspect your auto-electrician is using a generic code reader which is just listing all possible problems with the headlight leveling. If you use a laptop and the software FORScan (free for what you need) and a vLinker FS lead then you will be able to read the actual Ford specific DTC's

Or, take it to a Ford main dealer (God help!) and ask them to diagnose the problem. It will cost about £120 but they may find that it is only the level sensors are faulty.

Wow, don't think I've seen you ever recommend that before 🤣

If they are Adaptive Xenon, check the wiring inside:

So @Julie1000 I see you have been back to read the replies a couple of times now. I take it that your lack of reply is because you didn't get the answer you wanted ?

UK laws on vehicle headlights are very strict, even more so after recent changes to the MOT rules. Changing the type of headlight to something other than it was originally built with will invalidate the vehicles 'Type Approval' meaning when getting an MOT the examiner is expected to check that the lights comply with the vehicle lighting regulations.

I think we simply have another OPW on our hands, I feel so gullible!
