I know this isn’t totally Ford related but I have a dashcam query and a forum I went on seemed disinterested. I just bought a Mrolik S10 front and rear dashcam but when I downloaded the files to my PC and tried to run them on the recommended video player, it will not show position map nor tracking info using google maps, but a lat/long and speed IS shown on the playback video. This is a new item on Amazon so I wondered if anyone else had bought this dashcam and seen similar problems?

    Had a slosh round the instruction manual for this DashCam, sadly, can see no mention of where it states it should show 'google maps' when viewing a video on a PC?

    Hi Stephen,

    take a look at page 23. under title GPS. says you can see your position using Dashcam Viewer or am i reading this wrong. Also, when I run the playback application on my PC, there is a menu option to choose ‘google map’ and in the right hand side there is a (blank) box where the map should show.

    The only time I've had an issue with 'google maps' is when the setting in FireFox has had the performance 'hardware accelerator' at the wrong setting in 'settings'. I have no idea if you can go into settings on the player and alter anything...
