2010 galaxy load cover won't pull out

Featured Replies

The parcel shelf/load cover on my 2010 Galaxy has been stored standing on end for a couple of months, I recently put it back in the car but it won't pull open to cover items in the boot, it is just completely stuck, any ideas ?

If you can remember which end it was stood on, turn it up on the opposite end and tap it on the ground a couple of times.  It's probably just 'sunk' to one side and catching somewhere.

We tried that yesterday and again today, but a small piece of plastic fell out and it still won't work, any idea how we can take the end cap off to investigate further ?

Oh, that's a shame.  The end cap isn't really designed to come off.  If there are no visible screws or rivets then it'll probably use one-way plastic tabs.  You may be able to release each tab by sliding a small blunt knife in around the edge.
