Rotational tyre nose when turning

Featured Replies

When in 1st gear turning out of a space for example i get this wuh wuh wuh noise. As long as i give it gas and am going slowly like 10mph or under i can hear it. As soon as i dip the clutch or stop accelerating, even though the car is still moving the noise stops so it seems to be only when its given gas so not a wheel bearing. Also if the tyre was rubbing wouldnt that also be there when it isnt given gas. I am thinking possibly low diff fluid or bearing issue in the trans but even if i have my foot off the clutch but dont give any gas it still doesnt make the noise and it definitely sounds like its coming from the wheel arches. and it does it left or right. Power steering pump does not groan loudly, although when you turn the wheel at idle and hold it there you can hear a very quiet whistling type noise. Here is a link and if you have any ideas please help. Ford focus mk3 zetec s 1.6

Sounds like an outer CV joint.  I wouldn't worry about it yet while it's only on full lock.
