    I had 2 top engine mounts fitted to day. And when I got the car back there seems to beva slight noise when I brake. Could this be that they need time to bed in. Thanks

    If it's a little creak, that may just be the rubber settling in.  If it's a metallic knock then the bolts are probably not tight enough and should be double checked. 

    Also check the height of the studs are level on the engine side mount.  Sometimes garages whip the nuts off with air tools, not realising they've loosened the studs at the same time.  In some cases this can cause the mount to crack and drop the engine onto the driveshaft, immobilising the car.
