Picked up a K4 Premiun Ecologic cheap £30 with all the add ons as it had low pressure, it was filthy so in the process of going through it. I refuse to pay for Karcher brand waterproof grease, any recomendations please ? Pressure head already ordered the new upgraded metal one.

Seems not many people service their pressure washers.

Ive not used any waterproof grease myself so cant endorse anything, but id assume that plumbers silicone grease would do it. Same application really, sliding hose fittings together, so should work.

Late back to this, turns out it was the control head, and just my luck my model being the Ecologic is the most expensive for parts. £60.00 lighter and all running as it should.

Am on a Karcher forum and am amazed at the number of people that ask if you can run hot water thru them.

Okay... Odd. What do people need hot preasure washing for? Get a steam cleaner lol

Hot water is much better for breaking down grease & oil for something like engine bay cleaning.  It can be used as an alternative to steam cleaning at home, meaning you don't need to store two different appliances.
