hi all a few weeks ago i had a message up on dash saying tailgate open i checked the tailgate and it was shut so i had a look all the wiring was ok so i got a new latch to fit but that never helped so a bit stumped on what to do next any help please

    right up to the top of the tailgate and power down to the plug have tested all the way down

    i checked all the way to the top of the tailgate and found no fault havent tested with door closed

    Why I ask, is the smax and galaxy have a tendancy to break wiring inside the rubber tubing from tailgate to the body or close in that region.

    we have tested the plug and have power to all 4 points god i wish cars were still in the 80s i can fix them

    we have now checked all the way to the entrance for the roof inside
