Hey guys!

I'm planning to buy an aftermarket Mk4 and i would really love to have the ACC function. Since i cannot find any factory equipped cars and i'm willing to do some modifications by myself, now i'm looking for cars without it as well.

I'd like to ask a few questions about this.

I found a car ina  very good condition with low mileage, it's wheel clearly indicates that it doesn't have ACC:

However it does have the radar behind the grille:

Does it mean that basically beside switching the buttons on the wheel and some programming i would not need to do anything?

Also, what is this used for if the car does not already have ACC?

If you have the radar then it is doable but it's not a straight forward, pop onto FORScan and select "enable ACC" process.

You are correct that you will need the steering wheel switches and ensure you get the correct ones for manual or auto.

Then you have to manually code lots of modules using FORScan and a paid licence
