2017 ford galaxy titanium X all wheel transmission failure

Featured Replies

hi all i have a ford galaxy 2017 titanium x all wheel drive and i have just been told that the rear differential is gone we have done 280000 km or 174000 miles

we have just got some work done on the fly wheel that cost us €4000 and now we are been asked for another €2000 to solve this problem

can anyone tell us if this is a recurring fault is it a recall issue is there any way out of this

kind regards

mike

You could put a used one (from a lower mileage car) on to save money

Considering the vast majority of Ford Galaxy will never make it past 120,000miles I don't think you could call it a "recurring fault" and certainly not a "recall issue"

As Dave suggests the cheapest option would be to find a used part from a lower mileage vehicle.
