battery or alternator at fault?

hi guys

my charger turned up yesterday so put my battery on charge for around 11 hours. started up this morning without any problems.

after work today before i started my car up, i used the multimeter on the battery and its staying on 12.51, started car up ( nearly didnt start) and it stayed on 14.6. anyway i wanted to know what the alternator is like so i put fan on full, demister and front window heater and radio on loud. the voltage went straght down to 13.6 then gradually went down to 12.40.

i have already ordered this battery:

but wondering if my alternator is on its way out too?
