I have the following codes when I do a dashboard dtc check on a Focus 1.0l 2015.

C100_00.

1607_82

C073_88

C140_00

C200_00

C121_00

I understand these are communication codes, and they have caused the orange MIL light to come on. The car has not been modified and was serviced in March.

How do I get these cancelled without a scanner and do they indicate an underlying fault(s)

Any help appreciated.

    Instrument cluster codes are not of any use when trying to diagnose a problem. You need to get the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's)  using FORScan, windows laptop or phone version will both work.

    They require clearing with FORScan or a compatible code reader.

    Ok thanks. Car is not exhibiting any problems other than the warning light so it looks like I will have to get the necessary cable to sort it.
