Cleaning Sync 2 screen

Featured Replies

With the screen being a plastic I'm wondering the best way to clean it. Now with out wonderful bright weather my screen is full of my finger marks.

Who uses what to clean the screen?

A Microfiber cloth, with a small amount of IPA; the same way that I clean my glasses, my Phone, my computer screen...

Interesting Unofix. I've seen vids slating those wipes because of their high alcohol content which knackers the protective coating 'ford' put on them.

Sorry Rob I absolutely hate India pale Ale.

What was it that made you laugh out loud?

If it's about IPA  and my reaction then you are a whimp. Whimps drink IPA. I drink Real Ale and Asda take on Southern Comfort.

But I accept everyone has their own choice. You I don't think do. Whimp. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My mistake. I thought you were making a joke 🙂 No offense intended.

IPA = Isopropanol Alcohol. It's good for many things. I use 99.9%, because, well, for cleaning off solder flux, I find it's better than the lower percentage stuff. You'll find that 'lens cleaners' are impregnated with IPA.

Btw: my drink of choice is JD&Coke, where JD = Jack Daniel's and Coke is the soft drink, not the white powder 😉

Nice one Rob, I want being personal or insulting and glad you saw that.

Love your description of your drink of choice 😂

Try this with your JD. Place the bottle in the freezer. Go back to it the next day and then try it. I do that with my 'asda take on Southern Comfort, Deep South ' and it doesn't freeze (even tho the % of alcohol is 37) and the texture and drinkability is even better. And Never ever use ice. If you feel you need ice then freeze the coke and make cola ice cubes. I make ginger ale ice cubes.

Why folk water down their drink with dirty water is beyond me. Ice cubes that is.

I'm pleased that it's not just me that does this! Yes, the JD is as thick as blood, when it's well below zero, and no need for ice 😎

It's good to be involved with a Forum where the members can have joke or two with each other, and nobody gets offended.

Enjoy your weekend. 👍

Try white vinegar will only smell briefly, if its a touchscreen be very careful with ISOpropyl

Microfibre on it’s own just fine, I normally do my eye glasses at the same time😉
