Central Locking after battery change

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I have disconnected both batteries, charged them and reconnected.    The blue key fob works to lock the van but does not allow opening of either the main or rear doors.   The ignition works and the van will start.    I understand that fuses F74 and F78 are possibly involved,  they are not under the bonnet so must be in the glove compartment.  rear one or front?    The numbers are very difficult to read.  any help would be appreciated.

The keyfob can be programmed to only unlock the drivers door, it's a feature not a fault.

With the van locked, press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the keyfob for 5 seconds. The indicators should flash once to show programming to 'All Unlock' has been set.

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for your suggestion, which I have tried without success.    Here is a summary of what happens.  With all the doors unlocked, press LOCK on the FOB, the rear door locks and the passenger door also. Side door and driver- nothing.  BEEP  With all the doors unlocked, and with the blade in the drivers door, turn to lock, the rear, the passenger and the drivers door lock,   BEEP.       Using the FOB or the blade will not open, nothing happens, no BEEP.  Note that the side door does not respond at all.   Hope that is clear.   I cannot believe that a garage changing the batteries would have this sort of a problem.  Help!!!
