MK3 Parking Sensor issue

Featured Replies

Good morning

I've tried searching the forum but couldn't find the answer I was looking for. I have a 13 plate focus with standard parking sensors in the front bumper. I also have a very useful 10year old who thought it would be a good idea to 'push the buttons' on the front of the car and has managed to push one of the sensors into the bumper. Its one of the black ones located in the front grill. I've tried googling videos on how to remove the grill but haven't had much luck, so I thought I'd ask the experts.

What it the best way to get at the sensors to relocate it back in its holder

The grille does just pull off, but the car is old now and the clips will be a bit brittle, you risk snapping them off.

I would get underneath and remove the lower section
