2.2TDCi Heater not working!

Featured Replies

Hi all, newbie here. Just got myself a 2.2 Tdci S Max and it goes rather nicely.

Just 1 niggle really - the heater isn't working via the climate control. I crank it all the way up to high, warm the engine nicely, and it just blows cool air through. Taken it for long journeys, with same results. Fine now in summer (just about - bit cold here in Wales for summer!) but concerned for autumn/winter setting in and want to get it fixed.

Have any of you experienced this fault yourselves, or can give me a clue what the issue might be?

Coolant level is fine, so it's not that. And as mentioned, it's blowing air fine - just cool air....!

Many thanks in advance

Best

J
