Steering rack gaiter query - handed?

Car failed MOT on a minor issue, needs 2 x steering rack gaiters.

Are they handed, or will the same one do both driver/passenger side?

I also checked the price of a genuine Ford part, it's £148!! That can't be right, can it??

    I saw this just before dinner and thought I'd check parts catalogue afterwards when I had more time.  Completely forgot in the space of an hour.  Will check now. :laugh:

    £300 compared to £12, that is one helluva difference! LOL Wonder which I'll get 🤣

    Mine failed on one of the gaiters a few months ago. Luckily the garage I use where the guys look like they’re out of the movie Deliverance managed to get the gaiter fixed back on and then passed it.

    Ended up getting my local 'tyre' place to supply and fit both gaiters. Cost £72 (inc VAT) to 'supply & fit' in total which is alot less than I expected, and car passed MOT this morning. So no worries for another year... 😂
