Hi got smax 1.8tdci 2008 got cooling fan problem/fan doesn’t come on when it hit’s the right temperature. The only time it came on is when the temperature when into the red on the gauge ie overheating. Things I’ve checked out on the car (new temp censor)

new fan control box. Un plugged temp censor fan comes on. Got another ECU thought it could be something in there not telling the fan to come on when it gets to temp. The thin wire has been soldered in that goes to the fan control module. When I turn aircon on fan don’t come on. I’ve put new head gaskets on as the system was pressurising new thermostat/ thanks pete
