Upgrading from Sync 2 to Sync 3 and want reverse camera

Featured Replies

Good morning everyone 🙂

as the title says I’m going to purchase an upgrade kit to convert my 2015 Focus from Sync 2 to Sync 3 as Sync 2 is the most horrible thing I’ve ever used. Before I do though, I’m curious to know - if I already have parking sensors installed will I be able to install a reverse camera with steering linked guidelines too? The grid lines are an important detail as I don’t really think it’s worth spending the money on a camera if I can’t enable that feature.

I’m generally quite a handy person being an electrician for [too many] years, but I’m quite new to doing this sort of thing with cars so any common problems, pains or pitfalls with performing this kind of install would be appreciated.

thanks!

You will but you will have to code and use genuine Ford camera I believe
