How do I update my system? The focus is 7 years old so the mapping is probably out of date.

Do I have to buy a card and if so it’ll probably be expensive.

    Yes, just replace the card.  Costs about £25 on eBay.  I think F11 is the latest card unless they've released F12 now.

    F12 is now out for Sync 2.

    I thought Sync 3 was 2018, not many Mk3.5s got it.  

    But it sounds like it is worth the OP double checking which Sync they have.

    Sync 3 is done via USB or internet.  No SD card for those.

    I have tried numerous times to update my sync 3 using the internet. I have a good connection but when I try the update the whirligig just keeps going round. I never know whether it’s been updated or not.
